This weekend sees the over 50’s once more take the trip up to Dundee for June’s fixtures in Walking Football Scotland East League. This weekend we will be facing Dunfermline Dynamos, Dundee Utd CT and Fairfield looking for points to push us up into the top section of the league.
Dunfermline Dynamos
Despite currently sitting tenth in the league with one win and four draws from ten matches there’s always local derby pride to play for when Raith play the Pars at any level. The team will be hoping to get a win from this first game to set them up for a good day.
Dundee Utd CT
Sitting one place below us in the league with a slightly worse goal difference this will be an important. Our matches against Dundee Utd CT are always tight affairs and the team will have to be careful not to drop points against an experienced team.
Fairfield
Our final game sees us play fifth placed Fairfield who have five wins and three draws from their nine games. Fairfield are a team we’ve not played yet in their current guise but we have played against many times when they were under the St James banner.
Three tough games this weekend as always but plenty of scope to win some points and move up the table.
